Public Agency UAS - Remote Pilot Training

This is a 4 day course that will prepare you to take the FAA’s Remote Pilot Exam.  This certification is essential to beginning a safe, efficient and legal drone operation.  In addition, attendees will learn state and local laws applicable to UAS operations, best practices and special considerations for operating as a public entity or contracting with public entities. To date, attendees have a 100% pass rate on the exam. Approved for (3) elective CMO credits. 18 hours MSCLE.

Public Agency UAS - Public Aircraft Operations

This 2 day course covers UAS program formation for public agencies, operating under blanket, geographic and training COAs, obtaining waivers and SGIs (formerly emergency COAs), SOPs, operating manuals and checklists, federal, state & local laws, grants & more. Prior Part 107 or Part 61 training is strongly recommended, but not required. As with all our training, this course can be customized to address your specific operating area, COA, staffing and equipment, operational profile, etc.

Public Safety Agency Flight Training

We provide hands on flight training with your drones or ours.  Topics include: search techniques, processing data in the field, post incident mapping, pre-action planning, night operations and FLIR, checklists and pre-flight inspection, crew security, communications and more. Open to public safety agencies only.
